Assyrian Cuneiform Talisman III

This talisman features Assyrian cuneiform script taken from an ancient astrolabe, recreated in sterling silver using a traditional sand casting process.

The cuneiform impressions retain the distinctive wedge-shaped marks of ancient Mesopotamian writing, giving the piece the feel of a small archaeological relic rather than a polished modern pendant.

The pendant, including the bail, measures approximately 47 x 22mm.

Produced in a small batch and hand finished at The Silver Mill, located at the Old Butter Factory in Bellingen, NSW, Australia.

Comes on a hand-woven adjustable waxed cord.
