Genuine 1/2 Real Coin Gold & Sterling Silver Signet Ring

This handcrafted sterling silver ring features a late 1600s half real, minted in Potosí, Bolivia. The coin is securely set onto a handcrafted pirate inspired sterling silver ring with 10ct yellow gold. The ring band has multiple layers of texturing and oxidation, giving it a rugged and antique feel, reminiscent of something pulled from a shipwreck, that perfectly complements the antique Spanish silver coin.

The signet itself was individually cast in sterling silver, then carved to hold the coin.

10ct gold claws were then textured and added to hold the coin in place.

The ring is a US size 10.5 or Australian U+.

It is a one of a kind piece.

The main face of the signet is approximately 16 x 17mm.
