Moldavite is a vitreous silica projectile glass that was formed by a meteorite impact 14.7 million years ago in southern Germany and strewn across Germany, Austria and the Czech republic. This rough moldavite has been securely set in a fine silver bezel on a textured and oxidised wide banded sterling silver ring.
